As the season changes to winter, many parts of our lifestyle dictate that we "cocoon" from the great outdoors, and change out home's appearance and function to address our indoor activities. So, to help you get your home ready for winter living, here are some quick and effective makeover ideas.

Before you start repainting, bring home a can of your new colour choice (or choices) and paint a sample area to see how the colour looks in your home's lighting. In winter, it's easier to get comfortable indoors when surrounded by darker, warmer colours, rather than crisp, cool summer shades.
